The Computer Graphics and Geometry group (IGG) is part of the ICube research laboratory of the University of Strasbourg and CNRS. During the past years, the group was involved in the development of tools facilitating the creation of graphical 3D contents using real-world data and examples. Texture synthesis and object appearance reconstruction from multiple photographs have been extensively studied.
The Computer Graphics group at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology conducts research on the analysis, processing, and display of visual information. They have first-hand experience in rendering with ray-tracing, ray differentials, as well as analytical ways of managing anti-aliasing.
